Jeremy Dumont
Jeremy Dumont
began performing at the age of 8 with a local children's
singing group called TKO Kids. In his time with TKO Kids, Jeremy performed all
over the DFW Metroplex and had the opportunity to perform at The White House in
Washington DC. Jeremy became a regular on The Johnny High Country Music Revue
in Arlington, Texas and soon after was cast in the national tour of
The Music Man. Jeremy has
won numerous awards at many a
dance competitions and conventions including Starlight Production's
Performer of the Year, and became a dance assistant for the prestigious Tremaine
National Dance Conventions. During high school, he won three
Betty Buckley awards
including Best Supporting Actor (Enjolras in
Les Miserables), Best Choreography
(Anything Goes), and
Best Actor (Billy in Anything Goes). Jeremy has toured the
world with Joey McKneely's production of
West Side Story including
such venues as Singapore's Esplanade on the Bay, and the prestigious Theatre de
Chatelet in Paris, France for the show's 50th Anniversary. He will also be
performing in Grover Dale's production of West Side Story here in
Irving, Texas at Carpenter Hall. This summer he toured the country with
Camp Broadway, bringing Broadway professionals to work with aspiring young
talent. Jeremy is thrilled to be returning to Carroll after working with them
on their production of The Phantom
of the Opera this past fall. He is a graduate of the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy in
New York City, where he
currently resides.
