Jeremy Dumont

 

Jeremy Dumont is proud to have served as choreographer and dance instructor for the Carroll Theater Department for the past 5 years.  He began his dance training at the age of 10 and has been performing ever since.  Jeremy began his career on stage when he joined the national tour of The Music Man at the age of 13. Wanting to pursue a career on the stage, Jeremy moved to New York and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  Straight after college he was cast in the international tour of West Side Story. Jeremy has appeared in numerous regional productions including Singin' in the Rain (Cosmo), Footloose (Ren) and High School Musical (Ryan) at the historic Alhambra Dinner Theater in Jacksonville, FL.  Jeremy was recently seen in Dallas Theater Center's acclaimed production and rethinking of Cabaret.  Along with being a working actor, Jeremy is also a working choreographer and teacher, having taught and choreographed at numerous theaters and schools across the country. His choreography credits include: The Music Man, 42nd Street, Singin' in the Rain, and the regional premiere of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs for the Dallas Children's Theater.Jeremy currently serves as resident choreographer for Casa Manana's Playhouse Series, as well as heading up the dance program for their performing arts conservatory.  He is also on staff at KD College in downtown Dallas. Jeremy is a proud member of Actor’s Equity and a graduate of Carroll ISD.
