With more than 20 years’ experience teaching Acting and Directing, Ms. Pringle is excited to be working at Carroll Senior High School, in a district known statewide for its student talent and support of the fine arts.
Once a full-time actress, Ms. Pringle has traveled the United States with the national tours of both South Pacific and Cinderella. She has also performed on some of the most prestigious stages in the DFW area, including Dallas Summer Musicals, Casa Mañana, Bass Hall, Theatre Three, Lyric Stage, & Dallas Children’s Theatre. She continues to maintain her professional directing career locally, in addition to presenting acting workshops around the country.
In 2005, Ms. Pringle was honored with the Baynard H. Friedman Hero Award and named Outstanding Theatre Teacher of the Year in North Texas. She has also received Distinguished Teacher awards, a Column Award for Best Actress, multiple UIL OAP achievements, numerous Betty Buckley Awards and nominations, and accolades for her work in educational theatre.
In addition to teaching high school at South Grand Prairie and Trinity High Schools, Ms. Pringle was, most recently, the Director of Theatre at the Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy. Over the past 20 years, she has taught acting, directing, musical theatre, technical theatre, special needs theatre, theatre production, and the International Baccalaureate theatre curriculum.
Ms. Pringle holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is also an active member of the Actors Equity Association and the Texas Educational Theatre Association.
Ms. Pringle met her husband, actor Greg Dulcie, in 1997 when he was playing Prince Charming in a production of Into the Woods. They are now living “happily ever after” with their daughter, Finley.
